You should know that Fajr prayer is the first prayer of the day, and there is no doubt also that it is one of the most important prayer.

The Virtues Of Fajr Prayer In Hadiths:

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جُنْدَبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللهِ. رواه الإمام مسلم في صحيحه (657)

Translation: The Messenger of Allah, Mohammad (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him), said: “Whoever prays the morning prayer will be in God’s protection.  (Sahih Muslim: 657)

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُؤَيْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ مَنْ صَلَّى قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ، وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا». رواه الإمام مسلم في صحيحه. (634)

Translation: And the Messenger of Allah also said: ” Whoever prays before sunrise, and before sunset will not enter Hell”. (Sahih Muslim: 634)

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا» رواه مسلم في صحيحه (725).

Translation: Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Aisha – may God be pleased with her – that the Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: “2 Rakats  of Fajr is better than the world and what is in it.” (Sahih Muslim: 725)

Fajr Starting And Ending Time:

The time for Fajr prayer begins one and a half hours before sunrise, and it ends immediately after sunrise.

How To Pray Fajr Prayer?

In Fajr Namaz are total 4 rak’ah: 2 rak’ah Sunnah, and 2 rak’ah Farz.

First:  pray 2 rakats Sunnah before Farz, he must intend from the heart that he prays two rak’ahs from the Sunnah, after  that read Sana, and Taouuz and Tasmiyah, and Alhamdu, and any Surah from Quran, it is better if read  In the first rak’ah of Sunnah QUL YA AYYUHAL KAFIROON, after that perform Ruku and sajda,  the first rak’ah has been completed.

In the second rak’ah  read only ALHAMDU, and any Surah what you remember, this is better to read in second rak’ah QUL HUWALLAHU AHAD, after that perform ruku and sajda like first rak’ah, and perform ATTAHIYAAT, and Darud, and Duaaye Masurah in qadah, and then perform Salam, it has been completed 2 rak’ah of Sunnah.

Second: pray 2 rak’ah farz, the method to perform  is like Sunnah, , there is no difference between them, it is better if read long Surah of Quran in farz namaz of Fajr.

It is very important to know the Surah which you read It has to be compatible to the Quran, for example: if you read in first rak’ah ALAM TARA KAIFA, so you should read in second rak’ah LIYEELAFI QURAISHIN.
