عن أبي بن كعب قال: قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم: «من قرأ سورة النجم أعطي من الأجر عشر حسنات بعدد من صدّق بمحمد ومن جحد به». تفسير الثعلبي = الكشف والبيان عن تفسير القرآن (9/ 134)
The Messenger of allah,صلى الله عليه وسلم, said: {Whoever recites Surah An-Najm, allah Almighty will give him ten good deeds, according to the number of those who believed in Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وسلم, and denied him in Makkah.} Al kashf wal bayan v: 9 p: 134
قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم: من قرأ هذه السورة -النجم- واحدًا وعشرين مرة لقضاء الحاجة، قضية حاجته بسرعة.
The Messenger of allah, may صلى الله عليه وسلم, said: {Whoever recites this surah – Al-Najm – twenty-one times to relieve his need, the cause of his need is fast.
The virtue of Surat An-Najm in positively affecting the life of a Muslim
- The sins are great, and among them are the faults, which are forgiven by allah Almighty, and the Muslim must repent from them. This saying makes the door of repentance in front of everyone, even the one who commits major sins does not despair of the mercy of allah Almighty, if he is sincere in his repentance to allah, sincere in his intention, and affirms his determination in the heart and work on sincere repentance and abandoning it, for allah’s vast mercy includes the repentant.
- To encourage an increase in piety and faith One of the signs of piety is faith in the unseen which is mentioned in the Noble Qur’an and the honorable prophetic hadiths.
- That a Muslim strives to follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad – صلى الله عليه وسلم- with all his actions and sayings, if the affairs of this world or the advocacy have a reporter of the truth with the truth, not delusional, not a fabricator or an innovator, nor a whimsical speaker in what he informs of the religion.
- That the Muslim stay away from the skeptics, hypocrites and infidels, if they advocate against Islam or in matters other than that that discourage the Muslim, to turn away from them, neglect their affairs, and leave their matter to allah, who knows the wrongdoer and the benefactor, and rewards the one who is guided
