A Muslim’s life holds great importance for remembrance (Dhikr) and supplications (Du’a). Through supplications, a person communicates with the Creator of the universe, expresses his sorrows, and turns to Allah Almighty for his religious and worldly needs. Allah Almighty desires that His servants pray to Him and express their needs before Him. Allah Almighty states in Surah Ghafir, verse 60: “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”

Furthermore, under Sunan Abi Dawood, Hadith number 1488, it is narrated from Salman (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“Indeed, your Lord is Modest and Generous. He is shy for His servant to raise his hands to Him (in supplication) and then return them empty (i.e., without an answer).

From this, it is understood that people should continuously make Du’a to Allah. This pleases Him, and He accepts our Duas. It is also important to remember that a sincere, heartfelt supplication is always accepted.

In this context, and in the light of the following Quranic verses and authentic hadiths, some recommended Masnoon Du’as are mentioned below that we should recite daily.

Some Quranic Masnoon Duas:
